We love working with you to turn your idea's into real life applications. In this case study, we were commissioned to make a wooden lion cut-out as part of an Illinois church revamp.

 

The Brief

To produce two mirrored lion carvings from a drawing to sit above an internal church double doorway, made to a specific size to fit, so that one could sit either side of the glass. Supplied unfinished so that it can be stained to match the doors.

This was our first commission for Autenrieb Church Interior Decorating in Illinois, USA. It was crafted based on a supplied sketch. The final design comprised two parts, with a mirrored image of the lion created, allowing placement on either side of the glass. These pieces were supplied unfinished, enabling staining to blend seamlessly with the existing wooden door frame.

Adam worked with us from a small crude sketch that I had drawn with the dimensions scrawled across the paper. He was able to translate my idea into two beautiful mirrored lions that fitted perfectly above the church doors.

 

Since then our portfolio extends beyond lions to encompass a variety of church décor elements, such as crucifixes and grapevines, offering diverse and exciting contributions to their sacred spaces.
